Celebrity Bloggers! Bloggers that have made me a fan…

Why shouldn’t the blogging sub-culture have “celebrities” and “fans”? The interactivity of blogging is I believe one of its most “alluring” qualities. You can actually interact with authors, photographers, artists and others with great ease, to those “celebrity” bloggers I enjoy I say thanks; I’m a fan of yours…

The generosity of my blogging friend’s
Max and Amelia has proven to be quite overwhelming to me and I have therefore fallen behind in posting them to my blog and passing them on to some of my favorite blogging “celebrities.”

I have therefore created a single article to say thank you to my friends for their kindness and to further more pass these illustrious awards on to worthy recipients. Take a bow and pass it on…

Max presented me with the Blogging Star Award! Being from Canada this of course brings to mind the traditional 3 Stars picked after each hockey game, thanks Max!

I want to pass this award too some worthy bloggers:

Dave
Somegirl
Christina
Trailady
Jill

Max also awarded me with the Totally Fab Award! I am happy that the glasses appear to be filled with Romulan Ale (which of course is banned in the Federation).

This award was created to recognize “those bloggers who are fun, cool, and of course Totally Fabulous!” (authors:
Christy and Ann). The rules are: pass on the award to 5 people, and link back to the authors...simple, isn't it?

So I will pass this award on to…

Asian Butterfly
Dolce and Gabbanna
Jill

Max then proceeded to pass along another cool award (everybody tells me that Max is just beautiful but not generous with awards, but I say no she is generous with awards and also very discerning in who she gives them to!) This award is the Blogging That Hits the Mark! Award (very cool).
I will pass this award on to:

Maggie
Michele
Mohican
Joel
Heavenabove
Ruth
Jon

Max also graciously passed along another award to me called the Blogging Community Involvment Award: this blogger has the power of schmooze.

This is the definition that defines this “schmoozing” award:
This award is for people who:

"effortlessly weave their way in and out of the blogosphere, leaving friendly trails and smiles, happily making new friends along the way. They don’t limit their visits to only the rich and successful, but spend some time to say hello to new blogs as well. They are the ones who engage others in meaningful conversations, refusing to let it end at a mere hello - all the while fostering a sense of closeness and friendship.”

What a wonderful award! I will pass this along to:

Gabrielle
FiKaLo

Amelia has also been very kind and generous to me by presenting me with the Community Blogger Award. This award recognizes those bloggers who “reach out and make the blogger community a better one.”

Wow another great award! I look forward to passing this award on to…

Heavenabove
Joel
Marilyn
Trailady

Once again I thank
Max and Amelia for these awards, and I say to those I have passed them along to that I also appreciate their friendship.

There are of course many others I could have passed these awards on to, some I understand are not “into” this kind of things and for others these kinds of things are not quite a “fit” for their blogs, some have already received these various awards so I endeavored to pass them on to persons that I believe have not already received them, but if I have “duplicated” awards you still deserve it! If I didn’t pass an award on to you it does not mean I am any less a fan of you the “celebrity” blogger…

I end with these words about friendship…

By yourself you're unprotected.
With a friend you can face the worst.
Can you round up a third?
A three-stranded rope isn't easily snapped.
- -
Ecclesiastes 4:12 (The Message)

Thank you my friends…

Thanks so much for the award. Loving your blogs on Survivor and looking forward to more.

Hi, LS!

CONGRATS for all the awards! LOVE UR blog.

I agree with Max about the three-stranded rope. I don't think I've ever had these many friends before blogging...I feel SO VERY RICH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! ;-D

Livingsword said...

Hi Jill;

You are a star, a celebrity blogging star, and I am a fan.

I agree with your thoughts about Survivor particularly in regards to Courtney, she is so thin I hope she will be ok. She is too weak to do much of anything, who says Survivor seems to be overfeeding people this season (some are suggesting this)?

Enjoy the award!

Hi Maggie;

You are very welcome!

And also a very worthy recipient, I love your blog and so much appreciate your genuineness and vulnerability.

I look forward to getting to know you better.

Hi Amel;

Thank you so very much for the award.

I also love your blog and appreciate your caring attitude and friendship.

If you and Max didn’t already have every award I would have been able to send one each of your directions.

I find it fascinating how in a world that seems to be growing colder in so many ways that people that have never met and probably will never meet (this side of the “veil” of life and death anyways) can form genuine friendships. To those outside of the blogging sub-culture these friendships seem to be “in our heads”, that is because they have not been touched by this sincere community.

It is a beautiful thing to add yet another “strand of friendship” to my life…

Oh thanks so much Livingsword! I'm flattered...and to think that I was going to be all alone when I started my blogging adventure! I have come across some special people, including you, so thanks for the feeling of acceptance and validity that these awards seem to shower me with.

PS: I have not forgotten about the MEME...I'm working on it. Things are little hectic with needing to catch up on everything after being out sick....It's tougher than I though it would be!

FiKaLo said...

hahaha thank you! random!

Livingsword said...

Hi Somegirl;

I hear what you are saying about thinking you would be alone on your “blogging adventure”; it is wonderful to see that thru blogging you can build a network of friends and you can count me as one of those.

I look forward to seeing what you do with that meme; you are so creative and supple with words.

Livingsword said...

Hi FiKaLo;

You are very welcome…is “random” the new “sweet” in Australia?

Amel's Realm said...

Glad you liked my blog. :-)))

Yes, that's very true. To those who haven't joined in "these wonderful strands of friendship", they don't understand the beauty of it.

He he he...don't worry about sharing the awards with me. Being mentioned in your post is already an honour for me. ;-D

Yup, don't we all LOVE blogging so much? Now that I know the beauty of it and the way it enriches my life, I can't imagine my life without it he he he...

Hi Amel;

You can count on me being a regular guest at your blog!

One of the wonderful dynamics of blogging is the globalized aspect, it makes it possible to tear down barriers and get to know people.

For example with your blog people get to see two cultures compliment one another.

Another thing I love is actually being able to have these conversations, I don’t just want to post my ideas I want to read responses to them (one of the reasons I like to leave comments at other blogs is I believe it is a very important aspect of blogging, if I want comments on my blogs I should be willing to leave comments on others blogs), and unlike with writing the editor of a newspaper in blogging it is possible to have every responding comment published for all to read without a newspaper editor making the decisions.

Hi Dolce or Gabbana or both of you;

You are very welcome for the award. I totally understand that you are very busy with university. It is perfect time for me to visit your blog and go crazy! :)

You are sweet gals and much appreciated.

Thanks very much, LS! I appreciate your heart, as you do such a great job of shining the spotlight on other people and not yourself. I look forward to continuing to read your blogs, and to enjoy the blogs of others that you've shared here!
