Hoax and Chains
My fellow citizens…we gather because we have chosen hope over fear….For the world has changed, and we must change with it.”
…and thus the descent into Hoax and Chains is officially initiated…The camouflaging with smoke and mirrors deflects and reflects the shadow games of Hope and Change…the shell game of promising one thing and delivering another…tight fists twist and strangle the neck of the Golden Goose…Lady Liberty pole dances and lap dances fearing a Sabine
Destiny…the stars and stripes reimagined as the hammer and sickle. How quickly is built the Washington Wall…brick by brick…law by law…debt upon debt?
Delusion is provided at the expense of hope…and change is the forging of the links of its chains…The travesty and tragedy unfolds upon our televisions…The media celebrants modulated and mummified with the mantra of hope and change…grown by hate and the past opportunity of burning Bush…yet as the ingrained media skepticism rises the First Citizen may soon say to the fawning media “thou betray me with a kiss?” and the media provides no sisterly kiss, it is a seductress that when it turns it is as a lover spurned…dirty laundry ready to be burned…drinking Socratic poison…
Hoax and Chains…Let us borrow unfathomable amounts of money from China, Saudi Arabia and their like…then as we redistribute that money (borrowed on loan by your tax money to be paid back over future generations, children, grand children, great grand children…if ever) buy American…use money we have borrowed from China to buy products here in America Made in China…The First Citizen feels so strongly about buying American that he is using your money borrowed from China to buy it…We the people owe everything to China…how deep do we bow…at the slave ships paddle we row…
Alas the snake oil salesman is doing more than buying oil money from the sands of Saudi…he promised to aid the green movement…however we now see this does not mean the environment but the printing press for green backs…cash on demand none on hand…the homeless in the cold dark doorway begs ‘I have no home, spare some change?’ Hope and change stripped naked….nimbly and mind numbingly administered…Hoax and Chains.
Banks deemed evil…“fat cat bankers” told to lend money more freely…Has madness so set in that the iceberg of the present economic disaster has melted from popular memory? The tip of the titanic economic meltdown threatens to drown more quickly than polar icecaps sold by Profit Gore…We live in a time of a Polar Bear Market so why all the Bull? Promised is punishment of those evil banking institutions…penny by penny of which will be charged to the customers…shell games, piggy bank torture at the expense of girl and boy next door…
…but here comes the Knight Of Medical Care For All at the expense of the Damsel in Distress ‘America for sale’, personal responsibility lays stupefied coma like…the City of Light on a Hill flickers as grows the shadows of Hoax and Chains…the shell of a city upon a mountain of debt…
A nation that held hope to change the world in bygone days, a change agent on a global scale is now changed, a super power dethroned by assiduous kryptonite…changed by the world…from within and without…indebted to tyrants and dictators…
In a world of one super power that super power attempts suicide…one buck at a time…Is the Eagle dead…no not yet…however it now resides within a cage of its own making…no longer soaring…crippled by self…can one term of Hoax and Chains break the Eagles spirit? We shall see…
…for now I am thankful to be free…Canadian…and as America is up for sale at bargain prices I ask how much for the childhood state of the First Citizen? What is the going rate for a state…we will even make Hawaiian an official language…all for a little heat in a time of winter…
May God bless America…to be again glorious and free…for now we shall stand on guard for thee…

Hey LS,
Well, well, well...we both went down the political lane.
"the shell game of promising one thing and delivering another…" - I could say that this is Politics 101, but since I do not believe in this I will rather say that during campaigns or during the process of taking office politicians think that they'll be able to do things the way they had planned and once they take seat they realise they can't uphold to everything that has been promised.
This being said, this passage of yours is rather demagogue.
"debt upon debt" - funny how you (and all the hardcore-conservative people) associate the word "US debt" to President Obama. Can you say President Bush's $10,626,877,048,913.08 debt? President Obama inherited this debt that took 8 years to be generated and people expected him to liquidate it in one year - real smart. Did he increase the debt? Yes, he did...virtually, since not all money (of the +/- $800 B, of the Recovery Act) has left the State's coffers (which goes to show how controlled this money is). And if you speak of the Stimulus Plan and bailout money, banks and companies are already starting to pay...so again, this passage is demagogue.
"grown by hate and the past opportunity of burning Bush…" - I sympathise with President Bush, but let's face it: he was the worst US President ever. He inherited a $200 Billion surplus and left more than $10 Trillion debt; he damaged the US image abroad; he worsened US relations with practically every country in the world...and you're shocked that the media "hated" him?
"We the people owe everything to China…how deep do we bow…at the slave ships paddle we row…" - The people allowed it, the people wanted it: always wanting the lowest prices possible at any cost; always supporting the wrong nations (they rather support and associate themselves with China then with Africa - ask Tony Blair).
I agree with you on the Banks issue: they received Tax money to help people, to loan money...but they did not do this - they betrayed the People (who bailed them out).
"Medical Care For All" - crucial! The US has 40 Million people who have no access to health care because they cannot afford/access insurance - how said is that in a country that is a super power (although many doubt it being so nowadays)? I do not see what the issue is here: tax payers contribute to the National Health Care system, period. Even if a citizen has insurance, it should take pride in knowing that his tax money is helping someone who cannot afford to be treated otherwise. (Americans are always ready to help Haiti, to help lazy and corrupt nations but cannot think about helping their fellow-citizens, eh?)
LS, I loved the way you addressed the Hoax and Chains of several issues in one piece *applauding*: well done.
For a political text, though, there was too much poetry...but I guess it was your way to be gentler (not that it was necessary) *bowing*.
Bravo, LSus!
Cheers

PART 1
Max: Well, well, well...we both went down the political lane.”
LS: Like you darling…it has been to long…
Max: "the shell game of promising one thing and delivering another…" - I could say that this is Politics 101, but since I do not believe in this I will rather say that during campaigns or during the process of taking office politicians think that they'll be able to do things the way they had planned and once they take seat they realise they can't uphold to everything that has been promised.

LS: I would say this goes beyond politics as usual…this is the radical left Darth Vader dressed as Little Red Riding Hood…slip off the hood and there you have the dark side…and no I am not slipping into apocalyptic terminology simply the context of the current political climate…a radical left winger pretending to be the centre…“Demagogue” ROFL Come now…you finally get me writing this way and then you caress it with “Demagogue”…hmmm I like it!
Max: "debt upon debt" - funny how you (and all the hardcore-conservative people) associate the word "US debt" to President Obama. Can you say President Bush's $10,626,877,048,913.08 debt? LS: Ok let me say it again…fiscally Bush was a disaster…a left wing socialist disaster…he was no fiscal conservative…One of the worst parts about this is that Bush and Obama are making Clinton look good! The US debt to GDP is the largest ever…but this is not the worst of it…the worst is that Obama if unchecked will fundamentally change the “Golden Goose” into an unpalatable “Turkey”…he is killing the dream machine…both parties are to blame…Bush and Obama are to blame…but if Bush was going to get all the blame when he was in power now it is Obama’s turn…Obama is a loose cannon that may sink his own ship…and now he wants more debt? He wants to borrow more money form China? Has this man no shame? This is a fundamental issue…Obama and his ilk believe that government is the answer…I do not see government as the enemy...I believe in good government…I do not support anarchy..however government is not the answer…we do not need socialist elites that “know what is best for us” ruling for behind the DC Iron Curtain…
Max: "grown by hate and the past opportunity of burning Bush…" - I sympathise with President Bush, but let's face it: he was the worst US President ever. LS: Bush the worst president ever? Nixon…Kennedy? The US had a massive debt when Bush took over from Clinton…and Clinton had presided over the dotcom bubble fiasco (with Republicans in the house!!) The Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac disasters are the fault of both the Dems and Reps! The debt to GDP is outrageous…but Obama is borrowing from China and spending like a bull in a china shop…In 2008 debt to GDP as a percentage was 40.8% (way to high)…it is estimated to be 59.9% for 2009…and 2010 estimate is 67.1%!!!!!!!

PART 2
Max: "We the people owe everything to China…how deep do we bow…at the slave ships paddle we row…" - The people allowed it, the people wanted it: always wanting the lowest prices possible at any cost; always supporting the wrong nations (they rather support and associate themselves with China then with Africa - ask Tony Blair).
LS: Actually the people do not support it…the polls are against this policy and Obama’s numbers are way down…just one year after descending from upon high…With all due respect to Africa…get real…Tony Blare was Labour…
Max: I agree with you on the Banks issue: they received Tax money to help people, to loan money...but they did not do this - they betrayed the People (who bailed them out).
LS: The banks received money to stop from failing so there would not be a complete collapse of the system…for Obama to then suggest that they should proceed to wantonly redistribute wealth is lunacy! Then in his state of the union he says he will add costs to banks doing business all he is doing is giving them an extra cost to be passed along to the consumer…who will think it is the banks adding the cost! Shell game…cowardly…a un-leader…
Max: "Medical Care For All" - crucial! (Americans are always ready to help Haiti, to help lazy and corrupt nations but cannot think about helping their fellow-citizens, eh?)
LS: I am Canadian…I believe in universal healthcare…however the Canadian system is broken and needs fixing…it is wrong in the US that so many do not have proper health care but the proposed system that nobody has read all the way through is a tangled web of pay offs, rip offs, money grabs, slight of hand, snake oil medical care…all this being said..it would cost me less to pay an insurance company in Washington State for my health care than the taxes I pay for health care in British Columbia…and in Washington I would not have the long wait for non-emergent medical treatment…(Canada has just as timely treatment for emergent care as the US but things such as hip replacements can take over a year…something fixed the next day in the US if you have health care)

LS: ROFL…Well this is not the Wall Street Journal…you can get strait commentary from other sources…I thought I would try some shock blogging with an artsy twist…
;)
Thanks :)
LS and now China is getting ready for the moon trip lol, as Obama is not supporting the moon project anymore.
Excellent post!
Hey how are you doing my friend? Attending Olympics or watching from home. Hope all is well. Anna :)
Hello Anna!
How true, how sad about the US and the Moon…however perhaps it will be good for them to share the limelight with another great power…it makes one wonder if the torch is being passed from one nation to another…and how long it will take the world to appreciate the US for its benevolent leadership of past days…
I wonder what this will do to the value of Bob’s Moon real estate ;)
We are well thank you…and you and yours?
If you would like my Olympic Rings side view you may enjoy my other blog….
